Terms of use and conditions

General rules:

  • We are in a ML2 designated area so are required to wear a lab coat (green collar)
  • Do not eat or drink in the flow cytometry rooms
  • When external collaborators will work and access the flow labs you should inform the staff in advance. Please indicate affiliation and time of the stay
  • Files older than 3 months can be deleted from the shared computers at any time. Saving your data is your responsibility
  • Maximum booking time for 4 hours in a row between 9.00-17.00h. If more time is required, you should ask the staff if it is possible to avoid overbooking the instruments
  • When general use reagents are almost finished (QC beads, cleaning solutions, buffers) make sure you notify the staff
  • Don’t take the FlowJo dongles from the PC analysis
  • Always check the booking system to know if you are the first and/or last user of the day
  • Last minute cancellations need to inform the previous user of the day
  • The last user of the day has to turn off the flow cytometer
  • Throw away any trash left in the lab and clean the spaces:
  1. Empty tip boxes/bottles to the hall containers
  2. Throw old plates and/or tubes in the yellow trash
  3. Discard empty boxes: (1) make the box flat and bring it to the magazijn/storage room or the blue paper container next to the service-elevator and (2) throw the plastic part after making it flat in the regular garbage can

Pricing and fees:

Financial support by the faculty is partially compensated by charging the use of instrumentation. It  does not relieve users from the obligation to acknowledge the CFC. Current hourly pricing is outlined in the table below.
